President of UN General Assembly Maria Fernanda Espinosa arrives in Islamabad today on a five-day visit to Pakistan.
This is her first visit to any Asian country as President of UN General Assembly.
Espinosa will call on the President and the Prime Minister.
The Foreign Minister will hold a meeting with the visiting dignitary.
Apart from official engagements, the President of UN General Assembly will also meet members of Women Parliamentary Caucus, Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme and visit Pakistan’s Peacekeeping Training Center.
Espinosa will also address members of academia, think tanks and students.
