NEW DELHI - Prominent British MP Debbie Abrahams shames Indian government disgraceful act of deporting her over raising voice for Occupied Kashmir.

The British MP, who was denied entry into India and deported to Dubai on Monday, on Tuesday questioned the Indian government if the decision was taken due to her criticism of the Centre's policy on Jammu and Kashmir, India Today has reported.

A day after she was landed at Delhi airport but deported to Dubai, Labour Party MP Debbie Abrahams asked the Indian government why was her visa revoked after it was granted to her. Debbie Abrahams also wished to know why she was not granted a visa on arrival.

"Why did the Indian government revoke my visa after it was granted? Why didn't they let me get a 'visa on arrival'?

Is it because I have been critical of the Indian Government on Kashmir human rights issues?" Debbie Abrahams asked on Twitter on Tuesday.

While Debbie Abrahams has claimed that she had a valid visa, the Ministry of Home Affairs has said the Abrahams had been informed of the revocation. "The e-visa of the British MP was cancelled. She was informed of the revocation on Friday.

The status of her e-visa communicated to her clearly says 'rejected'. She can apply at the nearest Indian mission or apply online for a regular visa," government sources have said.
