LAHORE: Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambawale called on Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif here at Lahore. Matters related to mutual interest were discussed in the meeting.
As per details, both dignitaries also exchanged views over the bilateral ties between India and Pakistan. Speaking at this occasion, CM Shahbaz Sharif said that both countries should enhance their bilateral ties and behave like good neighbours.
War is not the solution of any matter while poverty and unemployment are the mutual enemy of both countries. Peace is the only way to defeat this enemy.
CM added that good relations are the key to progress and prosperity of both countries and both states need to resolve their issues with the dialogues.
While talking to CM Shahbaz, Indian HC said that leadership of both countries is taking concrete measures to stable the relations between Pakistan and India. Gautam vowed that he will play his effective role to strengthen the relation between both countries during his tenure.
