ISLAMABAD - New York Times gives another embarrassing blow to India over Occupied Kashmir lockdown.
Prominent International Daily the New York Times says India is using tactics of authoritarian regimes to suppress freedom of expression.
In an article, the paper notes that India which claims to be the world’s largest democracy has shut down internet services for over sixty million people in Occupied Kashmir.
In states of Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura same procedure is followed to suppress any resistance to its controversial legislations regarding these states including the revocation of Kashmir's special status and a citizenship law.
