ISLAMABAD- A U.N.-backed tribunal said there was no evidence of the involvement of Hezbollah leadership or Syrian government in killing of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri.

Reading a summary of the court’s decision on Tuesday, Judge David Re said Syria and Hezbollah may have had motives to eliminate Mr Hariri and his political allies, however, there is no evidence both had any involvement in Hariri’s murder.

Four members of Hezbollah were charged with conspiracy to carry out massive bomb attack that killed Hariri and twenty-one other people in 2005.
