Nawaz Sharif’s advice to PM Shehbaz Sharif on announcement of Punjab and KP Assemblies dissolution

The PML-N chief urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to expediteconsultations with Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) parties in order toprevent the dissolution of the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies.

Both bigwigs also discussed the option of no-confidence motion in thePunjab assembly.

Earlier, minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb onSaturday while hitting out at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman andformer prime minister Imran Khan said that not dates but courage is neededto dissolve assemblies.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Saturday after the PTIchairman announced to dissolve Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies onDecember 23 (Friday), she alleged that Imran Khan is trying to divert theattention from Toshakhana and foreign funding case.

Launching a tirade against the former PM, Aurangzeb asked why was he [ImranKhan] offering extension when former army chief General (r) Qamar JavedBajwa was doing everything.

Imran Khan has nothing to do with the public and democracy, she added.
