Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has invited the Taliban to Kandahar forholding discussion about peace in the country.
During his visit to the province, the Afghan President said if the Talibanare willing to bring peace, they can come to Kandahar to hold talks withthe delegation of Afghan government.
Earlier, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley heldtalks with the Taliban peace negotiators in Doha, Qatar, to urge areduction in violence across Afghanistan.
