RAWALPINDI – The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab on Wednesdayarrested PML-N former MPA Chaudhary Sarfraz Afzal.
ACE Circle officer Zahid Zahoor arrested Chaudhary Sarfraz Afzal withheavy contingent of police under the supervision of Rawalpindi director andlodged a case against him. The case was also registered against 11 personsincluding Deputy Director Planning of Rawalpindi Development Authority.
The officials faced resistance from the former lawmaker of PML-N. Theaccused politician was later shifted to hospital after he complained abouthis deteriorating health condition.
ACE DG Muhammad Gohar Nafees told that the accused had built an illegalhousing society without NOC, registration and approval after occupying over200-kanal land of the Forest Department and Lai Nullah.
