ISLAMABAD – Adviser on Finance Hafeez Shaikh has said that the exports areincreasing and the integrated policy is improving the economy.
Addressing a conference “Future Summit” via video link, the adviser saidthat the government is pursuing policies to ensure a sustainable economicprosperity.
He said that the country’s economy is on positive trajectory regardless ofcoronavirus. He said the government gave an economic stimulus package tosupport the industries and poor segments of the society.

Hafeez Shaikh said the package to the construction industry has acceleratedeconomic activities in the country. He further said the government tookdifficult decisions to ensure fiscal discipline. He said we have cutexpenditures and no supplementary grants have been given to the ministries.
