ISLAMABAD – Pakistani wicket keeper batsman Kamran Akmal became the firstAsian wicketkeeper to complete 900 dismissals after that Kamran Akmal hasreached yet another milestone during the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam trophy (QeA).
The right-handed batsman reached the 13,000 runs milestone after hittinghis 63rd half-century in first-class cricket.
Kamran Akmal reached the milestone in his 372nd first-class innings at anaverage of 38.40. The hard-hitting batsman also has 32 centuries with thebest score of 275 runs.
Despite impressive performances, Kamran Akmal has been looked over by thePakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for selection.

Experts believe that Kamran Akmal should have been the natural replacementfor Sarfaraz Ahmed in the T20 format. However, PCB went with MohammadRizwan as the keeper for all formats.
It remains to be seen whether Kamran Akmal will get a second chance or willhe also be limited to playing Pakistan domestic cricket.
