Pakistan conducted a successful flight test of the Ababeel Weapon System onWednesday, according to a statement from the Inter Services PublicRelations (ISPR). The test flight’s primary objective was to re-validatevarious design, technical parameters, and performance evaluations of theweapon system’s various sub-systems.
The ISPR’s statement highlighted that the Ababeel Weapon System is intendedto bolster deterrence capabilities and enhance strategic stability in theregion. This is achieved through the operationalization of Full SpectrumDeterrence within the broader framework of Credible Minimum Deterrence.
The launch of the system was witnessed by prominent figures, includingGeneral Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee(CJCSC), senior officers from the Strategic Plans Division and StrategicForces Command, as well as scientists and engineers from strategicorganizations.
