Rawalpindi: Army Chief General Asim Munir has stated that Palestinians havePakistan’s full diplomatic, moral, and political support.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the 260th CorpsCommanders’ Conference under the leadership of General Asim Munir was held,during which prayers were offered for the martyrs of Mustung, Hangu, andZhob, while strong praise was extended to the sacrifices of the forces andlaw enforcement agencies against terrorism.
General Asim stated that Pakistan will deal strongly with those who work onthe enemies’ signals to destabilize Pakistan, and the state will confrontterrorists, facilitators, and morale boosters with force.
According to the ISPR, the conference discussed the regional situation,challenges to security, and wisdom of action in response to threats, whileGeneral Asim reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s determination to defendPakistan’s sovereignty and regional security.
The participants of the Corps Commanders’ Conference expressed concernabout the situation in Gaza and the use of force by Israel, resulting inharm to innocent civilians.
General Asim said that the Palestinian people have Pakistan’s completediplomatic, moral, and political support, and they stand with Palestiniansfor a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue and the removal ofillegal occupation of holy sites.
In the conference, participants pledged to provide every possibleassistance for economic recovery measures and the welfare of the people, aswell as taking action against illegal economic activities.
General Asim stated that the Pakistan Army will continue to support thegovernment against illegal economic activities, strengthen actions againsthoarders, smuggling mafias, and cartels, and protect the country from thenegative impacts of economic activities.
The participants expressed their commitment to support the government’sdecision to repatriate illegal immigrants by November 1. General Asimdirected the dignified, safe return, and deportation of all illegalimmigrants.
General Asim emphasized maintaining the standard of professional excellenceduring operations and focusing on achieving the best performance duringformations’ training.
