CPEC: Chinese Ambassador unveils construction of 30 hospitals across Pakistan

BEIJING – Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Yao Jing has appreciated theresolve of Pakistan’s government to eradicate menace of corruption andalleviation of poverty.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad today, he hoped that Prime MinisterImran Khan will succeed in his ambitions to put the country on road toprogress and prosperity.

He said the Chinese government is working in thirty-seven various sectorsin Pakistan.

The Chinese Ambassador said thirty hospitals will be constructed in therural areas under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

He said his country will continue to extend cooperation to eliminatepoverty from Pakistan. He said there is need to focus on developmentalprojects to eradicate the poverty.

He said China introduced reforms at large scale for elimination of poverty.He also stressed the need for paying attention towards infrastructure.

Speaking on the occasion, Parliamentary Secretary for Planning, Developmentand Reforms, Kanwal Shauzab said elimination of poverty is possible throughpromoting education.

She said technical education will have to be given to the new generationfor a bright future.

Kanwal Shauzab said the government is fully focused on development ofindustries to achieve goals of development and prosperity. She said issueof unemployment will be addressed through promoting business activities inthe country.
