In a statement in Kabul, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said the fund will help national, international non-governmental organizations and UN agencies to distribute food and seeds, maintain primary health services, provide emergency shelter, safe drinking water, treat severe malnutrition, and to protect livestock drought-affected areas.
