WASHINGTON – Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for the State DepartmentHenry S. Ensher has spoken over the issue of Pakistan US ties inperspective of Afghanistan.
US top official said that pressure will continue to be put on Pakistanuntil it changes its policy towards regional peace and stability inAfghanistan.
US official termed mutual ties with Pakistan as important, adding thatstatus quo in Afghanistan is not suitable for Pakistan.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) uses Afghan territory as a platform forattacks in Pakistan, he opined.
