ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has strongly condemned Kandaharincident resulting into loss of precious lives.
In a statement on Thursday, the Prime Minister said people and the securityforces of Afghanistan have been paying a heavy price due to continuedinstability and threats from the enemies of peace.
He said Pakistan stands by the Government and the people of Afghanistan intheir quest for lasting peace and stability.
He said peace in Afghanistan is critical to the regional peace anddevelopment.
Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has also strongly condemnedKandahar incident.

According to ISPR, he expressed wishes to see Afghan and other securityforces succeeding to bring an end to this prolonged violence in Afghanistan.
He said that peace in Afghanistan is essential for peace in the region andPakistan supports all initiatives towards this end.
