ISLAMABAD – Former Pakistan Ambassador to United States Hussain Haqqanilands in hot waters yet again.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has approached the Interpol torepatriate former Pakistani ambassador to the United States, HussainHaqqani, alleged in Memogate scandal, on Thursday.
FIA also submitted a special charge sheet against the former ambassador inthe Supreme Court. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) transferred theSupreme Court-accorded authority for Haqqani’s arrest to the FIA again.
Amicus curiae (friend of the court) informed the Supreme Court that underthe given authority, the FIA has approached the international policeorganization for Haqqani’s extradition who has fled abroad.
