In Peshawar, the US Consul General, Shante Moore, paid a visit to thePakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians (PTI-P) office on Sunday,engaging in a comprehensive meeting with the party’s leadership.
PTI-P Chairman Pervez Khattak warmly welcomed the US consul general duringher first visit to the central office of their party in Peshawar.Alongside, party Vice Chairman Mahmood Khan, Secretary Information ZiaullahBangash, and various other party leaders were in attendance at thegathering.
As per PTI-P representatives, Pervez Khattak deliberated on the currentpolitical landscape in the country and provided an overview of theirparty’s manifesto, constitution, and election slogan.
This visit marked the first occasion where a US diplomat had visited theoffice of a political party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Pervez Khattak, alongwith a group of former PTI parliamentarians, had parted ways with formerPrime Minister Imran Khan and the mainstream PTI, establishing their ownpolitical entity, PTI-P, and commencing their political campaign within theprovince.
