The Asia Cup has revealed potential opportunities for Shahin Shah Afridi tobecome the vice captain due to the team’s incomplete performance. After theAsia Cup cricket tournament, the national team is set to face its nextmajor challenge in India from October 5th in the ICC Cricket World Cup.

However, it has been decided to replace Shadab Khan as the vice-captain ofthe One Day and T20 teams with Shadab Khan. In the Asia Cup’s five matches,left-arm fast bowler Shadab Khan, who has taken 6 wickets at an average of40.83, is currently out of form.
Still, Captain Babar Azam has been facing intense criticism forconsistently including him in the eleven-member team. Now, it is reportedthat Shahin Shah Afridi, Pakistan’s most important player and fast bowler,is a strong possibility to replace Shadab Khan as the vice-captain.

Under Shahin Shah Afridi’s leadership, Lahore Qalandars, afranchise of the Pakistan Super League, achieved the honor of becomingchampions in consecutive years in 2022 and 2023.
