The Civil Aviation Authority has outlined specific instructions forpotential bidders, requiring them to submit their applications in favor ofthe CAA accompanied by a fee of Rs5,000 by November 8. Interestingly, thismove to outsource is not isolated, as last month, the government alsodecided to explore outsourcing options for Karachi, Lahore, and IslamabadInternational Airports. It’s noteworthy that countries like the United ArabEmirates, Qatar, Turkiye, China, and Saudi Arabia have exhibited a keeninterest in the potential outsourcing of all three airports.
