Pakistan’s cricket team has once again become the number one team in theICC One Day International (ODI) rankings. On Sunday, India defeateddefending champions Sri Lanka in a one-sided match in the Asia Cup final,claiming their eighth Asia Cup title.
On the other hand, South Africa defeated Australia in the final ODI of a5-match series, winning the series 3-2. With South Africa’s victory overAustralia, Pakistan regained the top position in the ICC ODI rankings.
While India won the Asia Cup, they are in second place in the ODI rankings.Pakistan couldn’t secure the Asia Cup title but claimed the top position inthe rankings due to decimal points.
In the ICC ODI rankings, Australia’s team has moved to the third positionwith 113 points, while South Africa holds the fourth position
