Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says it is not the case that solving the country’sissues depends on stopping Imran Khan. According to details, People’s PartyChairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while addressing a press conference inOkara, said that whether anyone agrees or not, there is a political andeconomic crisis in the country and none of it were solved when Imran Khanwas sent to jail.
There are challenges in terms of peace, security, and terrorism. In thepast, when the People’s Party was handed responsibility, there was aneconomic crisis at that time too. The PPP government understood the crisisand revived the economy. The People’s Party transformed revenues intoprofits and initiated revolutionary programs like the Benazir IncomeSupport Program. The good initiatives taken in the past will be repeated.
They expressed good wishes for Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa and said thattaking the oath with his spouse standing beside him is a powerful message,and they hope that the organization will improve with the arrival of thenew Chief Justice.
Bilawal Bhutto demanded that elections be held as soon as possible in thecountry, and the People’s Party has never run from elections. They are notconcerned about attaching themselves to a wall. When Zulfikar Bhutto washanged, it was said that the People’s Party was being attached to a wall,but Shaheed Benazir Bhutto did not back down from elections after buryingthe unmatched leader, and even today, our demand is the same, thatelections should be held. If the election schedule is announced today, thenwe can ask who is forming which alliance.
