MULTAN – Punjab chief minister nominee from PTI Sardar Usman Buzdar landsin hot waters as startling revelations have surfaced against him.

He has been accused in a NAB case, NAB sources have revealed.

Furthermore he has paid blood money to resolve a murder case against him,Police sources have revealed.

A case was registered against Buzdar and his father for plotting murderafter six men were killed in a firing incident during the 1998 polls.

The sources said that a case was registered against 20 people overinvolvement in the murder, adding that the people had opened fire whilecampaigning for Buzdar.

A court had declared the PTI’s nominee for Punjab CM and others offendersin the case, police sources said.

However, Buzdar and his father paid Rs750,000 as blood money and settledthe case, police sources added.

Additionally, another allegation pertaining to Buzdar making 300 bogusappointments during his tenure as nazim has also surfaced.

However, Buzdar’s brother dismissed the allegations as baseless, addingthat the National Accountability Bureau had dropped the case after itfailed to find sufficient evidence.

On Friday, prime minister-elect Imran Khan had announced Buzdar’s name as acandidate for the post of CM Punjab via a video message. Explaining hisdecision, the PTI chief had said: “Sardar Usman hails from the mostimpoverished area of Punjab. These people have no water, no electricity, nohospitals.
