Pakistan cricket team will play 19 T-20 matches before the start of theICC’s Men’s T-20 World Cup (WC) in West Indies and America in June 2024,which also include 10 additional matches against New Zealand.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said that the purpose of playing 10additional matches against Kiwis during the 2023-24 season is to prepareteam Pakistan for the mega event.
According to the schedule announced by the PCB, Pakistani team will reachNew Zealand after playing three matches in the ICC’s World TestChampionship that will be held in Australia between December 14, 2023 andJanuary 7, 2024.
In New Zealand, the PCB has said the team will play five T-20internationals between January 12 and January 21.
In response to team Pakistan’s visit, Kiwis will tour Pakistan in April2024. During their visit, they will play five T-20 international matches,the PCB has informed.
