RIYADH – Police in the Saudi Arabia have busted a seven-member gang ofthree Saudis, two Pakistanis, one Syrian and one Sudanese who committed 124robberies and thefts in the Islamic Kingdom.

A police spokesman said the gang stole car and used them in carrying outtheir thefts which included commercial centers and shops as well asbuilding materials from construction sites in Riyadh.

The police also seized captagon pills and 2.5 kg of hashish with the gangmembers, the Riyadh Daily reported on Tuesday.

While announcing the arrest, the Riyadh police confirmed the Ministry ofinterior keenness to maintain the safety of Saudis and expatriates and todeal firmly and decisively with anyone who compromises with the securityand safety of the community.
