ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s Legendry Pacer Wasim Akram has a big advice forPakistan cricket.

Wasim Akram erupted at Pakistan national team over their defeat againstarch rivals India at the ICC World Cup blockbuster, saying that ‘enough isenough’ as Pakistan should concentrate on improving their domestic cricketstructure.

“At the moment, the Pakistan player’s mindset is ‘so what if I don’t playfor Pakistan, I can play in T20 Leagues’. But NOCs should only be given byPCB to players who have been playing first-class cricket,” said Akram.

The former captain further said that the performance in first-class cricketshould be the criteria for selection in Pakistan Super League (PSL).“Enough is enough, only pick players in the PSL who have performed well infirst-class cricket,” he added.

“For the past 10 years, first-class cricket is in shambles so we would needto do very serious thinking, as it is the game we love and are passionateabout, but something is wrong somewhere,” added Akram.

Rohit Sharma scored his second hundred in three innings allowing India tomaintain their unbeaten record against Pakistan at the World Cup with an89-run win under the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method on Sunday.
