LAHORE – Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has expressed thelikelihood of rainfall in several cities of the country on Monday.
As per the prediction, more rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expectedat scattered places in south Punjab (Multan, D.G.Khan, Bahawalpurdivisions), north Balochistan (Zhob, Kalat divisions), while at isolatedplaces in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, D.I.Khan,Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Sukkurdivisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.——————————
Hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
According to the synoptic situation, weak moist currents from Arabian seaare continuously penetrating over upper and central parts of the country.——————————
A westerly wave is still affecting upper parts of the country and maypersist during next 24 hours.
