ISLAMABAD – State Bank of Pakistan has extended its credit guarantee schemeto fourteen more cities of the country to enable women entrepreneurs ofthese areas obtain loans on softer terms.
Chief Manager of SBP, Bahawalpur said, “SBP has expanded the scheme tofourteen more districts including Multan, Rahimyar Khan, Khanewal, DeraGhazi Khan, Jhang, Bahawalpur, Vehari, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Bahawalnagar,Sukkur, Hyderabad, Ghotki and Peshawar.”
He expressed the hope that due to this scheme, now women entrepreneurs willbe able to obtain loans on mark up as low as five percent and that too on asingle guarantee.
