As the Chinese Navy fleet docked at Bandar Abbas, the southern city port of Iran, the naval forces of China and Iran are set to hold a joint militarydrill in the Strait of Hormuz. The Chinese Navy fleet will participate in the joint exercises in waters along with Iranian navy, as part of the military drill.
Both Iran and Chinese naval forces will be displaying their military potentiality and sharing their experiences during the drill.
To promote and enhance the relations between the two countries, China has sent its navy fleet comprised of ‘Chang Chung’ guided-missile destroyer, Chao Hu ship and guided missile frigate Jin Zhoi as well as a helicopter to Iran.
In the recent past, Iran has conducted some major military drills to enhance its defense capabilities of its Armed Forces and to test modern military tacts, and somewhat display its existent military might. -CJPost
