*Saudi Arabia on Wednesday has barred passengers from carrying Zamzam wateron flights. *According to a notification issued by the Saudi General CivilAviation, passengers have been barred from carrying Zamzam water in theirluggage and the airlines have been directed to strictly comply with theorders.
All the airlines operating in Saudi Arabia have been directed to strictlyimplement the orders.
In case of failure, Saudi Arabia can take legal action against theairlines, the notification read.
The Zamzam well, which is located 20 metres from the Kaaba, is known as theoldest of its kind.
