The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has warned taxpayers about emailsrelated to the Income Tax Defaulters list.

According to a statement issued by the FBR, the emails related to theincome tax defaulters list are fake and these fake emails are asking tocheck the income tax defaulters list.

The FBR has warned that the emails were fake and have viruses.

According to the FBR, attempts are being made to obtain information throughphishing emails, so such fake emails should be completely ignored andimmediately informed the concerned authorities.
