NEW DELHI – Indian Navy helicopter crashed after developing a technicalfailure in Arabian sea last week, the naval branch of the Indian ArmedForces disclosed on Tuesday.
The navy has claimed to have averted ‘a major catastrophe’ as their Chetakhelicopter ditched at Arabian sea.
However, all crew members were reported safe.
It said a board of inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of thetechnical failure leading to the loss of the helicopter.
