LAHORE – An accountability court in Lahore has on Monday indicted PakistanMuslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) President and Leader of the Opposition in theNational Assembly Shehbaz Sharif in the Ashiana Iqbal Housing scandal.
Accountability Court Judge Syed Najmul Hassan charged ten suspectsincluding Shebaz Sharif and summoned the witnesses in the next hearing.
All the accused rejected the charges. The PMLN president swore to God thatthe case against him is false and affirmed to bring facts in front of thenation. He also accused the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) of fraud.
