*ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and Saudi Crown PrinceMohammed bin Salman jointly presided over the inaugural meeting of SupremeCoordination Council in Islamabad tonight.*
The council will ensure implementation of bilateral cooperation inimportant sectors.
The ministers of foreign affairs, the defence, the defence production,finance, energy, petroleum, water resources and information of bothcountries are included as members of the council.
The ministers for cultural, interior and human resources will also be themembers of the Supreme Coordination Council.

The meeting of the Supreme Coordination Council will be held in Riyadh andIslamabad respective every year. Steering Committee and Joint WorkingGroups under the council have also been formed.
The establishment of Supreme Coordination Council was proposed by the SaudiCrown Prince.
