In a surprise move, left-arm fast bowler, Mohammad Amir, has agreed to makehimself available for the national team selection if there is new teammanagement in place.

Former players, including Shoaib Akhtar, and Shahid Afridi, had regrettedAmir’s decision and asked him to reconsider it. Akhtar, Afridi, andInzamam-ul-Haq had urged Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) high-ups to speak toAmir and resolve the issue.

However, just a month after his announcement, the left-arm pacer has nowhinted that he may come out of retirement if the coaching setup is replaced.

I will approach the board myself and tell them that I am available if thereis new management in place. I don’t think that the issues with currentmanagement will be resolved now because the mindset doesn’t change in a day.
