In India, main opposition party Congress has asked the Modi government toconstitute a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to probe the ‘Chatgate’involving Arnab Goswami and former head of Broadcast Audience ResearchCouncil Partho Dasgupta.
In a tweet, former minister for Information and broadcasting Manish Tewarisaid it points towards a direct linkage between so-called Balakot airstrikes and 2019 general elections.
He raised the question whether national security was milked for electoralpurposes.
