*ISLAMABAD – Foreign Office (FO) spokesman Dr Muhammad Faisal hascategorically stated that India has no role to play in Afghanistan peaceprocess.*
This was stated by the *FO* spokesman during his weekly press briefing onThursday. He said that solution to the *Afghan conflict* lies in anAfghan-led and Afghan-owned *peace process*.
To a question, he said in pursuance of that *Pakistan* has facilitateddirect talks between the *US* and the *Taliban*. The *FO* said we remainconvinced that an intra-Afghan dialogue will lead to bringing peace andstability in *Afghanistan*.
