Five Indian Army soldiers killed, injured at LoC by Pakistan Army retaliatory fire

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army troops responded befittingly to unprovoked firingalong the Line of Control (LoC) by killing three Indian soldiers andinjuring two others.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of Pakistan Army,said Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing in Kuiratta and Kotkheterasectors along LoC targeting civil population.

The troops of Pakistan Army responded befittingly to the unprovoked firingfrom the Indian side, ISPR said, confirming that three Indian soldiers werekilled with two others injured while an Indian post was damaged as a result.

On Thursday, one Pakistani civilian was killed after the Indian armyresorted to unprovoked and indiscriminate firing along the LoC whichtargeted the civil population.

Muhammad Mushtaq, a Pakistani civilian and resident of Tain village,received injuries. He was admitted to a nearby hospital for medicaltreatment.
