ISLAMABAD: (APP) Punjab Archery Championship in Lahore
A total of nine teams will be participating in the Punjab Inter Divisional Archery Championship scheduled to be held in Lahore from June 23.
Talking to APP, Secretary, Punjab Archery Association (PAA), Shah Manzar Fareed said all possible steps are being taken for the promotion of Archery in Punjab.
"The nine participating teams include Rawalpindi, Bhawalpur, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Multan, Sargodha, DG Khan, Faisalabad and Lahore," he said.
He said that the Managers meeting of participating teams will be held on June 22. The training camp of teams has already been started in their respective areas.
"Archery Training Centre is working at four cities namely in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Jhang and Bhawalpur where various coaches are imparting training to players (boys and girls). All facilities are being provided to the players for free," he said.
He said that Rawalpindi Inter District Archery Championship will be played in July. "Four district teams including Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal and Attock will take part in the championship," he said.
