Lahore: Pakistan star cricketer Shahid Afridi, who played for the PSL’s till now leading team Multan Sultans, ignited a debate on social media about the trophy of the tournament.
Hours after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) postponed the cricket tournament due to coronavirus outbreak; Afridi took to Twitter and expressed sadness over the cancellation of the event but added that “health and safety of all concerned is the key”.

He added, “Perhaps the decision could have been taken earlier, with regards to the trophy...well the table-topper should be handed the trophy?”
As his comments landed on Twitter, it received mixed response from the social media users with some hilarious ones.
Some users said Multan Sultans deserve all the trophies.

Another user apparently a fan of Lahore Qalandars requested the legend cricketer that the trophy should be given to Qalandars this time as Sultans can win it next year.
