ISLAMABAD: (APP) Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak sunday said that in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a Health Insurance Scheme would be launched next month to provide free medical facilities to poor people.
In an interview with a private news channel he said, one point eight million people would benefit from this scheme.
Under the scheme, two hundred thousand rupees will be spent on providing health facilities to each poor family, he added.
The Chief Minister said sixteen thousand teachers will be recruited this year to overcome shortage of staff in schools.
He said youth training programme has also been initiated in the province to produce skilled manpower.
