ANKARA: (APP) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin will meet in the first week of August, the state-run Anadolu agency reported on Sunday, quoting presidential sources.
It will be their first face-to-face meeting since the rapprochement in late June after Russia said Erdogan apologised for Turkey shooting down a Russian fighter jet in November last year. Putin had called Erdogan earlier to express his support in the wake of Friday's unsuccessful coup.
