ISLAMABAD - President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have congratulated Pakistan Kabaddi team for winning the world cup title.
In a tweet, the President called for dedicating this victory to ‘peace’ in the region and the world.
Prime Minister in his message said I feel proud for the team which brought fame to the country and the nation.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has also congratulated the whole nation over winning Kabaddi World Cup by defeating India.
In a tweet, she said Pakistan Kabaddi team has raised the head of entire nation with pride by winning the world cup.
She hoped the team would keep playing with same spirit and keep Pakistani flag always fly high.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has congratulated Pakistan Kabaddi team on winning the World Cup 2020.
According to a tweet of ISPR, the Army Chief said both finalists, competed in true spirit of the game, displayed exceptionally high standard of expertise in a closely contested game and deserve to be applauded.
