PAF - PN place all resources at disposal of Sehwan Sharif blast victims

RAWALPINDI:  Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force have risen to the occasion of deadly suicide blast at the Sufi Saint shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.


The deadliest blast claimed by ISIS has martyred at least 72 Pakistanis and over 150 injured.


Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah has placed all Naval Hospitals in Karachi on high alert to receive the Sehwan blast injured, it was learnt through the ISPR.

The ISPR chief said all the medical facilities in Karachi have been placed on high alert by the naval chief to receive injured through night capable heli.


All the required resources of the armed forces were placed for the rescue efforts after the blast.

Air effort being sent for quick evacuation of injured. Night flying cap heli of Navy and C-130 of Pakistan Air Force will do relief effort, the ISPR statement stated.

The PAF’s C-130 will lift injured from Nawab Shah Airport, while Pakistan Navy’s heli will lift injured from Sehwan and surroundings, he said.
