Federal government imposed heavy tax on second hand clothes of Landa Market

Federal government has levied a sizeable amount of taxes on the Lunda Bazaar clothes. Reportedly, the government has made a phenomenal increase in the taxes on Lunda Bazaar clothes. It has imposed Rs250 tax on a 25kg bundle of clothes acquired from the international market.

The Lunda bazar traders were fumed at the extraordinary increase in the tax on Lunda Bazaar clothes.

President Lunda Bazaar Association Naeem Badshah hammered the government on this cruel increase in taxes asking it to better eliminate the poor by giving them poison.

The traders reminded Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif that he had vowed to end poverty even if he had to sell his clothes. But instead of selling his clothes, the prime minister was depriving poor people of their coverings, they rued.

The Lunda Bazaar traders warned the government if it did not withdraw the tax on the used clothes, they would be left with no other option but to take to the streets and hold a protest against this decision
