Prime Minister-in-waiting Imran Khan has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
In a condolence statement today (Thursday), he said Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a renowned personality of sub-continent and his efforts for better relations between Pakistan and India will be remembered for long time.
PTI Chairman said Atal Bihari Vajpayee's death has created a great vacuum in politics of South Asia.
Imran Khan said the real acknowledgement of Vajpayee's services can only be possible by establishing peace in the region.

Foreign Office said Government and people of Pakistan are grieved over the death of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
In a condolence message to the family of former Indian Prime Minister and Government and people of India, the Foreign Office said that Vajpayee was a renowned statesman who contributed to bringing a change in India-Pakistan relations.
He said that he remained a key supporter of SAARC and regional cooperation for development.

Pakistan People's Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has condoled the death of former Indian Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee.
In a statement today (Thursday), he said that Vajpayee’s efforts towards establishing an atmosphere of trust between Pakistan and India will be his lasting legacy.
He expressed hope that India’s current leadership will exhibit similar intentions and commitment towards sustainable peace in South Asia.
