ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Military DG ISPR gives an embarassing blow to IndianMilitary bollywood dreams.

Bollywood filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Bhushan Kumar announced afilm based on a supposed Indian Air Force airstrike in Balakot earlier thisyear and DG ISPR Asif Ghafoor had something to say about it.

The film is touted as a “tribute to the sons of India and theirnever-say-die spirit” in “a story that celebrates the accomplishments ofthe Indian Air Force”.

Soon after the film was announced, the DG ISPR was quick to tweet, “Withdue respect to [Wing Commander] Abhinandan as a soldier, yes the dreamcould only be fulfilled through Bollywood,” referring to the February 19air strike which, acknowledged an Indian minister, killed no Pakistanisoldier or citizen. International watchers also found loopholes in India’sclaims at the time.

With due respect to WC Abhinandan as a soldier, yes the dream could only befulfilled through Bollywood. Denial of sham strike on 26 Feb and wreckageof 2 IAF jets shot by PAF on 27 Feb will haunt you despite that.
