ISLAMABAD – Indian national Hamid Nehal Ansari who was convicted inPakistan on spying charges has completed his sentence in Pakistan and isbeing released.
As per media report, Pakistan released on Monday Indian spy Hamid NehalAnsar, who was involved in anti-state crimes, after his three-year-longsentence completed.
The Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal announced on Twitterthat Ansari was released and is being repatriated to India.

In 2012, Ansari had illegally entered Pakistan after which he got involvedin forging documents and anti-state crimes. In 2015, he was awarded threeyears of imprisonment by a military court. According to reports, Ansari hadcrossed the border to meet a girl he met online.
