ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday issued a contempt of courtnotice to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director General in a casefiled by FIA Director Inam Ghani.
The petitioner stated in his plea that a junior officer of the FIA hadissued notice to him in an inquiry against him.
The court had earlier ordered to shift the inquiry against him to a seniorofficer but the junior officer again served notice to him in violation ofcourt orders, Inam Ghani said.
He prayed the court to initiate a contempt of court proceedings against theFIA DG and the junior officer.

After hearing the arguments, the bench issued notices to the FIA DG andsought reply from the department within ten days.
