LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister’s Special Assistant on Information FirdousAshiq Awan has said that it requires grace to accept defeat.
While commenting on Gilgit-Baltistan elections on Tuesday, the specialassistant said the opposition is unwilling to accept the results of GBpolls while people voted in favor of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
“PML-N Vice-president Maryam Nawaz and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardarihave been rejected and should understand that transparent elections are notonly those in which they secure victory,” Firdous maintained.
She further remarked that the PML-N and PPP should now show courage andgive sanctity to vote.
